Before joining Sightline, I spent over 15 years supporting adults and young people with physical, learning and mental health needs, working in both education and community support.
I am visually impaired myself and have nystagmus, oscillopsia and double vision, meaning Sightline’s work is especially close to my heart. I have first-hand experience of some of the challenges that people with visual impairments can face.

“I joined Sightline in 2021 and look forward to making a difference to those in the sight loss community.”
Here at Sightline, our telephone befriendees are here to help ease isolation or loneliness. I have already been touched by so many of our volunteer stories, they are literally the lifeline to so many of our service users. I am proud to help raise the profile of our telephone befriending service.
