Every penny helps us.

As a small charity we rely heavily on grants and donations to allow us to provide our much-needed telephone befriending service. In the financial year 25/26 our charity cost £109,000 to operate and while we had grants from various sources, we still must keep trying to replace these. This is done in a very challenging sector, where many charities are seeking grant support.
We are very grateful to those individuals that left a Gift of a Lifetime to our charity in their will. Receiving a legacy can make such a big difference to our sustainability. Also providing donations in Lieu of Flowers helps support us.
We launched a “Friends of Sightline” scheme towards the end of 2025, where supporters can give regularly to help us continue to reach as many visually impaired people as possible. Every penny helps us.

We also have a Community Lottery page whereby you can win weekly cash prizes and an entry into a Super Draw for each ticket bought. It costs very little to support us with this fundraising scheme; to find out more please visit our
Finally, anyone who wants to run a marathon, jump out of an aeroplane or organise a fundraising event for us; please reach out and get in touch. We’d be very grateful to accept any raised funds.
